The invitations have gone out. The stamping is over. The finalized prop, costume and schedule lists are being created. Our vendors are all solidified (except transportation) and while we do have to make programs, I’m feeling pretty good about our progress. This is the last month of our engagement and the last swirling whirling month of preparation and very very soon we’ll be on a plane to Seattle, and very very soon we’ll be weepy in front of a lot people while we vow to share our life together, and then very very soon it will all be over. We’ll be happily married with a lot of thank you notes to write.

My Seattle friends are in the Washington Post today due to the delicious victory over the Redskins on Saturday night.
The guy in the tan shirt is my old roommate, Mark Siano, and the guy in the green hat on the left is our good friend Dave Swidler. I love that my friends are in the Washington Post!

“We can make our minds so like still water that beings gather about us, that they may see, it may be, their own images, and so live for a moment with a clearer, perhaps even with a fiercer life because of our quiet.” -W.B. Yeats
